| 英文描述 | Hemorrhagic bowl syndrome in dairy cows is characterized by the sudden onset of clinical disease associated with melana or blood clots in the manure and necrohemorrhagic enteritis that primarily affects the small intestine. Large intraluminal blood clots obstruct single or multiple segments of small intestine. The cause is unknown, although CLOSTRIDIUM PERFRINGENS is commonly isolated from affected cattle, and the prognosis is grave; death can occur within 24 hours of the onset of signs. Dx by exclusion of other causes. |
